SNOW FUN DAY

Duration: 3,5 hours Includes: Transfer by coach or by snowmobile to the Snow Fun area. Safari equipment, Snow Fun activities including tandem skiing, snowshoe walking, tobogganing, lassoing, snow sculpture, competitions such as pulling the robe, winter football, different kinds of problematic excursions. Trek lunch at the location during the day. Trek lunch consist of grilled sausages by an open fire, filled baguette, hot beverages, biscuit and chocolate bar. Medal and diploma Ceremony. Transfer by coach or snowmobiles back to the city. Guide services and V.A.T.

SNOWMOBILE SAFARI FOR KOTA DINNER

Duration 3 hours Includes Snowmobile safari, safari equipment. Around an open fire enjoy a typical Lappish three course dinner in a Lappish Kota. Cosy seating is covered with reindeer skins. After the dinner coach transfer to town. Guide services and V.A.T.

SNOWMOBILING AND ICE –KARTING

Duration: 3 hours Includes: by snowmobile to the ice-carting area. Practice and qualifying rounds. After the qualifying round the ice-carting race is ready to begin! Equipment (helmet and warm overall) for the ice-carting are the same as for snowmobiling, diploma for all the participants, price for race winner. Guide services and V.A.T.

SNOWMOBILE SAFARI FOR DINNER AT SNOWLAND

Duration: 3, 5 hours Includes: Snowland is an igloo restaurant situated on the shore of the Kemijoki river. The restaurant capacity is for 260 pax divided into smaller igloos. In the restaurant tables and other decorations are made of ice and the seating is covered with reindeer skins. The restaurant is lit with lanterns. Snowmobile safari to Snowland, safari equipment, three courses dinner. Coach transfer after dinner back to town. Guide services and V.A.T.

SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO THE REINDEER AND HUSKY FARM

Duration: 5 hours Includes: Snowmobile safari to the local reindeer farm, safari equipment, 1 km reindeer sledge ride and reindeer driving licence, Arctic Circle crossing ceremony and certificate. Visit at the local Husky Farm. 1 km husky sledge ride (2 persons / sledge), hot beverages with Finnish pancakes, guide services and V.A.T. Trek lunch will be served during the day.

REINDEER SAFARI TO THE SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE

Duration 4 hours Includes Coach transfer to the local Reindeer Farm, safari equipment, reindeer sledge ride (about ½ hour) to the Santa Claus Village, reindeer driving licence. Visit Santa Claus. Coach transfer from Santa Claus Village to town. Guide services and V.A.T.

VISIT OF THE AMETHYST MOUNTAIN

HUSKY SAFARI 4.5 hours

Duration: 4.5 hours Forget the rest of the world and fall in to this! Three hours in the forest trail, sliding on the runners, pulled by huskies whose instinct is to run. We will have short breaks for taking pictures. You should have some evidence to show back home -remember the camera! We will enjoy the surrounding beautiful nature by sitting around the camp fire and grill sausages and have some snacks. After the dog sledding warm and cosy log cabin is waiting for us to have coffee and pancakes. Included in the price: full safari equipment, transfer back and forth Rovaniemi city center- husky farm, English-speaking guide and VAT

CULTURAL PATH

Duration 3 hours Includes Guided visit at Aalto Centre, Art Gallery, Marttiini’s knife factory and Arktikum, transportation by kick sledge or by foot, entrance fees. Guide services and V.A.T. Program is valid daily except on Mondays and on public holidays

HUSKY SAFARI 2 hours

Duration: 2 hours Get charmed by the power of huskies… This trail goes deeper to the forest. During the two hours dog sledding we will have breaks to relax your arms for holding on the handle bar too tightly :) To stay warm, we will enjoy hot and sweet berry juice in the "forest bar". The length of the trail is 14-17km. After the dog sledding, we arrive back at the husky farm and warm up in our cosy log cabin having coffee and pancakes. The musher will take the opportunity to tell lots of stories about huskies, life at the farm and sled dog racing. Included in the price: full safari equipment, transfer back and forth from Rovaniemi city center to the husky farm, an english-speaking guide and the VAT.

ON THE DOG TRAIL WITH SANTA CLAUS

Duration 6 hours Includes Snowmobile safari to the local Dog Farm, safari equipment, 1 km husky sledge ride (2 persons / sledge), hot beverages and Finnish pancakes served in a kota by an open fire. Coach transfer to the Santa Claus Village, lunch in a restaurant and a visit to Santa Claus. Guide services and V.A.T.

VISIT AT SNOWCASTLE IN KEMI

Duration: 7 hours Includes: Coach transfer Rovaniemi- Kemi Snowcastle-Simo Wanha Pappila- Rovaniemi, safari equipment, guided tour of the Snowcastle. Buffet lunch at the Wanha Pappila restaurant in Simo. Guide services and V.A.T. Program is valid 31st Jan 2009 - 10th April 2009.

Duration 3 hours Includes By snowmobile to the rally driving test area, drive with a skilled rally driver and compare your speed with his performance. Equipment (helmet and warm overall) for the rally driving test are the same as for snowmobiling. The rally cars fulfil the safety requirements of rally competitions. Guide services and V.A.T.

NORTHERNMOST ZOO IN THE WORL

Duration: 5 hours Program description: at the Ranua Zoo, you will see Arctic animals in almost natural habitats. The Zoo’s three-kilometre trail will show you our thick-coated friends up to their winter antics. After seeing the animals, you will be ready for a lunch at Jussan Pirtti serving Lappish delicacies.
