RECEPTION

Reception opening hours daily 08.00-22.00. From the reception you can buy souvenirs, stamps and postcards, outdoor maps, book activities and safaris as well as renting equipment such as fatbikes and snowshoes. We highly recommend to book equipment and safaris latest one day earlier.

Please kindly note that reception is closed during the night time. Please take your room key with you, if you out in late hours and intend to return to your room when reception is closed. The entrance next to main door is always open, once the main door is locked during the night time. In case there is disturbing behavior or noise during the night time, please contact police tel. 112.

We kindly ask you to keep your room keys with you at all times. In case you forgot your key to the room or lose it during the stay while reception is closed; please call the reception phonenumber – phone calls go to security company, they will charge 85,00 fee for door opening on night time. Payment to reception next morning.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND RESCUE MAP

Please familiarize oneself with safety instructions and please have a look for safety map. Closest EXITS are marked on the map.

We kindly ask you to note that it is forbidden to storage outdoor equipment, shoes or winter clothing in hotel corridors. This causes a major safety hazard and accelerates any fire situation.

In emergency call always 112.

HOTEL ROOM MAIN SWITCH

When entering to the room, there is a main switch on the wall. Please switch it on to have all your electricity working properly. Please note that in Quadruple rooms there is a separate main switch in upstairs as well.

RESTAURANT SERVICES

Please wash your hands always before entering to restaurant or lobby area. You will also find many stations in the lobby areas with hand disinfectant liquid. We suggest to wear face masks in public areas when you are unable to keep the safety distance.

SKI MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE – SUMMER TIME FOR BIKES

Hotel guests can storage their own skis in locked ski locker room located in the entrance floor, next to the night door. Ski maintenance room is located on the basement floor, entrance from outside from the backside of the hotel. Ski maintenance room is closed during the night and open during reception opening hours. Code for both ski locker room and ski maintenance room is hotel code available in reception. Please contact hotel reception for futher information about the location of these facilities.

ROOM BILL

Room bill can be opened with valid credit card in hotel reception.

INTERNET

There is free WIFI in our hotel. You don’t need any username or password. Hotel wifi is under name Yllasrinne Guest and it works in hotel rooms and in public areas.

DAY OF CHECK OUT

Check out time is at 12.00 noon. The reception will assist you to store your luggage in the luggage room if you like to spend more time in the area before your departure. Please note that hotel is not responsible for the luggage stored in the luggage room. If you require a later check out or wish to extend your stay, please contact our reception for further information.

DAY CLEANING

During summer time room cleanings are done when asked one day before. Kindly note that there is no day cleaning during weekends. If “Don’t disturb” sign is placed outside the room at any time of the day – room cleaning is not made to your room. Please note that we might ask you to leave the room while day cleaning is made so that we can make sure of safety distances and other things.

Day cleaning includes: 

• making beds (we kindly ask you to note that in case there are personal belongings on the bed such as mobile phone – beds are not made) 
• emptying trash
• change of towels when left on the bathroom floor 
• filling coffee and tea set 
• cups are changed if needed
• bathroom and floors are wiped

We care about our environment. By using your towel several times you help us reduce water consumption. Hang your towel when you want to continue using it. Leave your towel on the floor when you need a fresh one. The environment thanks you!

You ask for fresh towels and toilet paper from hotel reception if needed.

SAUNA

Sauna is warm daily 16-20. Enjoy relaxing moments in our sauna department (lowest floor, K). Separate saunas for men and women and they are open daily. Please take a towel from your room and experience the relaxing Finnish sauna! You can also buy a refreshing drink from hotel lobby bar before going to sauna. See the sauna opening hours from the leaflet given to you when checking in.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS DURING COVID-19

During Covid-19 pandemic we follow in Communicable Disease Act law’s 58 § required self-monitoring plan for restaurant services. We follow Lapland’s tourism and restaurant industry’s safety plans made together with the industry in our services. In Hotel reception and in front foyer you can find our instructions for “How we secure you a safe visit”. Please follow the common rules.

DRYING ROOM – OUT OF USE AT THE MOMENT

Free drying room for clothing is located on the lowest floor (K). Please note that hotel is not responsible for items left to the room. More information about the drying room from hotel reception. Code for the drying room is hotel code available in reception.

FITNESS ROOM – GYM 

Fitness room is open daily and located on the lowest floor (K). Access with hotel code available in reception. Please use only your indoor shoes. Remember to swipe all equipment with disinfectant liquid after use, thank you!

BATHROBES & SLIPPERS

You can rent bathrobe for your stay from hotel reception. Price is 15€ / person/staying. Slippers are 3€ / person (one size).

AURORA ROOM 

Aurora room is free to use for hotel guests. It is a communal living area in upper 3rd floor facing the Ylläs fell and northern sky. In good weather you can even spot some Northern Lights! Aurora room is open during reception opening hours.

FOR CHILDREN

Playroom for small children is located on same floor with reception, in the beginning of the room corridor.  You can also borrow board games.

TRANSFERS

Airport bus to and from Kittilä Airport, bus to and from Kolari train station and local skibus (operating during winter) stops outside hotel reception. You can check timetables from operating companies or ask from hotel reception. Kindly note that some of the transfers might be available only with pre-booking.

SMOKING AND BURNING CANDLES

Please note that it is not allowed to smoke inside the rooms or light the candles. It might cause the fire alarm! Client will pay all extra expenses for causing a fire alarm.  Nearest smoking place is just front of the hotel. If we detect smoking in the room, we will charge extra fee of 500 €.
