Safartica is looking for enthusiastic and service-minded guides to join our team in Levi for the winter season 2026–2027.

As a guide at Safartica, you will lead international customers in a variety of Arctic activities, including snowmobile safaris, ice fishing, animal experiences, snowshoeing, and Northern Lights tours. The role also includes ensuring safe operations and maintaining equipment and operational areas.

We are mainly looking for guides with previous experience in tourism or outdoor activities. Photography skills and language skills in Spanish, Italian, or French are considered an advantage. The working language is English.

• Valid B-class driving licence

Professional requirements

• Valid first aid certificate
• Snowmobile driving skills
• Wilderness skills, including:
  • fire-making in extreme conditions
  • orienteering
  • operating in winter conditions
• Ability to drive in snowy and icy conditions
• Completed Arctic Guide course (www.arcticguide.fi)
• Hygiene passport

If you do not yet have all the required qualifications, we also provide training opportunities.

The following will be considered an advantage

• Previous experience in hospitality and/or tourism
• Additional language skills, especially French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Chinese
• Good knowledge of Rovaniemi and surrounding areas
• Photography skills
